Stories of resilience on Option B typically follow the arc of first experiencing adversity and then building resilience and finding new meaning. It’s powerful for our community members to see examples of how others have faced challenges in their lives.

Since our site does not have a “save draft” feature yet, please make sure your story is ready to go with these key pieces before you submit:

What you need to know
Our team reviews submissions and will publish stories we think benefit our community. We will send a confirmation email for entries that have been approved for publication.
As the title for your story, we will use a quote we feel represents your story best
We recommend that stories do not exceed 800 words
We do not allow inappropriate, profane, or abusive language
We reserve the right to edit stories for length and clarity, and fix any spelling and punctuation errors. We also reserve the right not to publish some submissions.
We do not allow content that is a verbatim reprint of a book, article, blog post, or any other form of written content. We ask that you please submit an original Option B story.
The most powerful Option B stories center around personal experiences. Please do not share stories or photos that include promotional content for an organization or business or that heavily focus on advocacy. You may include links to organizations or causes that are related to your Option B story in your bio.
